Hi there! My name is Tessa :) I'm an enthusiastic, hardworking adventurer who loves learning from new experiences and cultures.
I'm travelling around New Zealand and hoping to experience a bit more of the local life during my time here. I'm a big animal lover, so very happy looking after any pets or farm animals, and I love spending time outside. Whether that's being active – hiking, camping etc or just enjoying being in nature. I'm also a creative person, so always like to be drawing and making.
Whether it’s helping out on a farm, teaching languages, or participating in community projects, I’m always eager to dive into new challenges and lend a helping hand wherever needed.

Gardening/Farming: Experience with basic gardening tasks such as planting, weeding, harvesting, and general upkeep of farms and gardens.
DIY/Handyman Tasks: I’m good with tools and have experience in basic DIY, painting/decorating, and home repairs. I’m always willing to get my hands dirty!
Hospitality & Cooking: I love cooking and learning new meals to make, especially from different cultures! Whether helping in the kitchen or managing household tasks, I enjoy making a cosy and warm and living environment.
Creative: I'm an artistic person and love to create art or help in crafting things!
Animal Care: From helping out on farms to caring for pets, I’m comfortable around animals and enjoy taking care of them.
Tech-Savvy: Familiar with basic digital marketing, photography, social media management, and blogging. Happy to help with any online tasks or content creation.

I’m particularly interested in experiences that allow me to learn more about sustainable living, organic farming, or cultural exchange. I thrive in environments where there is a strong sense of community, and I’m always excited to meet like-minded people. I would love to learn more about working in an outdoor space, planting and growing and really connect with those that are passionate about creating positive change.
I’m looking for hosts who appreciate a positive, can-do attitude and who are open to teaching new skills. In return, you can expect someone who is reliable, hardworking, and genuinely invested in the tasks at hand. I’m flexible with the type of work I do and am happy to adapt to what’s needed most!
