  • Description

Hello! We are Ashley and Monica, a married couple in our early thirties from Texas and Colombia. We have been doing house sitting throughout Europe for about 2 years, and although we love it, we really miss being in community. Meeting people around the world, being in community and learning new skills are some of our main goals with Workaway.

We both work remotely during the afternoons. Ashley is a wildlife biologist and science teacher. Monica works on business process improvement for a tech company.

We actively work on refining our daily routines to live a balanced and happy life. We are passionate about contributing to meaningful projects, especially when it comes to working with marginalized communities, children, women, and the LGBTQ+ community. We also like to be active in nature, meditate, learn about ancient traditions and other cultures, practice gratefulness, journal, and help others whenever possible.
