We are a Canadian couple from the west coast. We are travelling to Japan in November 2024 with working holiday visas. Our mutual passion is exploring nature. We have Bachelor's in biology/ecology, and have both worked in environmental and agricultural industries since graduation. Trevor enjoys camping, surfing, disc golf, and jiu jitsu. Maddy loves hiking, camping, weightlifting, and kickboxing. Good food, company, and relaxation are priorities for us to enjoy our travels.

Maddy:
I am very experienced spending time in nature. The outdoors is my all time favourite place to be, and I am not shy of a remote, off the grid placement.I have a wide range of skills, most recently office admin. During university I worked catching invasive bullfrogs for a conservation effort and as a vet assistant at an animal hospital. I love animals, especially dogs. I come with unlimited hiking stamina, including kickboxing and lifting skills to match. I enjoy cooking tasty vegetarian meals and singing. I graduated with a bachelors of biology with distinction at the University of Victoria.

Trevor:
I work as a machine operator at a forestry orchard. Previous jobs include: Junior environmental consultant, botanist and research assistant, Landscaper, BC park's maintenance, and Carpenter's assistant. I love sports and hope to be able to ski, surf, train jiu jitsu, and play disc golf while I am travelling.
