Hello there

My name is Jula, I am 21 years old and live in Switzerland. I grew up in a small village surrounded by beautiful nature, mountains and waterfalls. I finished my last year of school and now I am preparing to study biology at university. But before I start my studies, I want to explore the world! I would like to meet people from all over the world, get to know other cultures and improve my language skills while supporting you in your work.

I am humorous, creative, reliable and not afraid of physical work. I love trying new things, having interesting conversations and learning something in the process.

My native language is German, but I also speak fluent English. I would be happy to learn a few phrases of your language!

I like to spend my free time in nature, doing things with friends or spending time with my family. Through my apprenticeship as a zookeeper, I was able to gain experience in dealing with a wide variety of domestic and wild animals. If you have any pets, it would be a pleasure for me to take care of them.

Animals
As already mentioned, I was able to gain a lot of experience in dealing with all kinds of animals through my training at the zoo. I cleaned their enclosures, fed them and looked after their welfare.

People
But I don't only like to spend my time with animals, but of course also with people ;-)
I grew up with two siblings and in my spare time I also babysat and helped in a day care centre for a few days.
During my time at the zoo I also had a lot of contact with customers or visitors, answered their questions and had great conversations.

Service
During my stay on a campsite in Norway 2024 I learned how to use a industrial kitchen and cook different meals for 40-100 people. It was my responsibility to refill the buffet and keep all areas clean. Maintaining and cleaning dorms and cabins the guests stayed were part of my job there as well. When I'm working I am efficient and fast!

Gardening
My family lives in a house with a beautiful garden. We have flower beds, fruit trees and grow herbs. Accordingly, I regularly help in the maintenance of this natural oasis, planting new plants, removing weeds or raking leaves.

Craft work
I am a very creative and innovative person and I am not afraid of physical work. So far, I have done minor renovations on my own or helped my parents with manual work. Nevertheless, I would like to learn more in this area.
