Hi!

My name is Bene, I’m 24 and I am traveling before I begin my Master's degree, gathering experiences, growing with the people I meet and trying to learn as much as possible from them.

I am really looking to do outdoor work, connect with a community and have some fun to go along with it.
Before beginning my studies in September and sitting in front of a laptop again, I would like to spend as much time outside as possible. I'm a fan of physical work and while it's no problem to work on my own independently, I do enjoy working and spending time together with other people. Also I am looking to improve my Swedish and very meek French skills, in case you are patient enough for some language exchange. I am quite a calm and outgoing person that appreciates clear communication and is always up for conversations and laughs. I love to learn new things, get my hands dirty and am strong enough to get stuff done.

While I am open for all projects, I am especially interested in farming, natural building and working with animals, ecological ways of living with the environment and creating more equal & inclusive spaces.
Being active and outdoors, hiking, longboarding, mountainbiking and swimming while being surrounded by nature is what I love most. I practice meditation and occassionally do some yoga (I could really use some motivation to do it more often :)
Also I'm a big fan of all things food, love to bake and cook together and spend time in community while making music or being otherwise creative.

So really I am just another open minded and adventurous person interested in ecological improvement, cultural appreciation and being outside. I love meeting and working with new people and learning about their community and world views. I'm excited to meet you and help out or create something together.

I have experience taking care of children (babysitting, kindergarden) and elderly people.

I have a lot of service experience, having served in restaurants and an ice cream shop, worked in a light house souvenir shop and in retail, an organic supermarket and a museum.
Also I am experienced in logistics and event organization for my university and have organized two festivals focusing on anti-racism.

On farms I have gathered experience in animal handling taking care of cats, horses, dogs, cows, chicken, bunnies, sheep and peacocks.

I am also quite handy, can split wood, drive a car and have helped with some natural building and vegetable gardening.

I'm really into community, anti-discrimination and keeping this planet alive. Also I have a big interest for spiritual exploration and different forms of meditatative experiences, so I'm always open to learn new things in those areas.
