Hello all! I'm Tabea and I am currently traveling in India. I'm a 22 year old girl from Germany and just finished my undergraduate degree in Biology in Berlin. Before starting my Masters, I am taking some time off to work and experience living in different cultures. I am not just looking for a fun time, I would love to learn more about ecological projects, farming techniques, sustainable ways of living and environmental protection. I am a creative, hard-working and nature-loving person and I am very happy with a simple and peaceful lifestyle that is in sync with our planet. I already have experience in working on a farm, growing vegetables, harvesting them, and general gardening techniques. Through my studies, I have also gained knowledge in plant physiology, botany, and ecology. I am super interested in learning about different species and how to keep them happy :). During a conservation research internship in Madagascar, I also learned about biodiversity research, fieldwork, data collection, working in a plant nursery, and sustainability in general.
When I was living with my parents, I also used to help them a lot with their house and garden. They bought an old farmhouse and renovated most of it themselves, so I have some experience in handling wood, designing and building furniture, painting, etc. I like doing practical work with my hands and am a quick learner.
I have experience in working with children as I helped in holiday camps during the summer and organized craft lessons. I love being creative, doing handicrafts and painting. I think it is such a great way to connect with children and also raise awareness for important topics.
Besides that, I love cooking and can handle household chores. To finance my studies, I worked at a bar and theater reception as a side job. I enjoy communicating with guests and providing people with a good experience.
