Hey everybody! I am Chris from Vienna, Austria
I developed a lifestyle that lets me travel the world for quite a long time before needing to get back to a "normal" Job and life like this since quite a while now. As I love to connect with locals and explore their culture and how they live I often use workaway while travelling and had some of the most amazing experiences with it.
One of my biggest passions is to learn and explore the Flora and Fauna of the countries I travel to, while making Pictures and Youtube Videos about my adventures.
I am a Gardener and Landscaper who also has a lot of experience working in different environments now. 10+ years experience in this kind of Job and a lot of workaways like designing and planting a Garden in Corsica, working in Olive groves in Italy or the Côte d'Azur. My idea of gardening/landscaping is to try to plant mostly native and to create a garden which humans, insects, animals can enjoy together while preserving and boosting local ecosystems. Want to point out that I know how to safely work with a chainsaw, as this is a job most of my hosts were happy to have me for ;)
Also worked in 3 Mountain huts and one B&B, so there is experience in Hospitality, Barkeeping, being a waiter and taking care of guests, Housekeeping, maintain remote houses,...

Carol is an amazing generous and kind person, we were spoiled with great food, she even made separate vegetarian food for Amy, which is just amazing. We also found ways in which we can help on her property and the one of her daughter and help was a lot of fun and we hope we could help her!

Cristoph was a priceless collaborator. He turned out to be an excellent pruner, in a few days he managed to prune two entire gardens, arranging poorly kept lemon and olive trees. We had an nice ( poorly short) time with Ale, dami and maica.
We helped at the B&B and in the garden of the beautiful place. Had some delicious dishes and tried new food.

Julia & Christoph spent some weeks on the farm. They did all their work quickly and reliably. The two tried very hard to complete all tasks in the best possible way and were very diligent. It was a pleasure to have them on the farm as support.

I had my first workaway experience in the camp, its was very nice! The people at the camp are nice and helpful, sadly i didnt met Brahim, but also the work and chats with Ahmed was funny!
