I’m keen to travel and would prefer to allow to immerse myself in local culture with work than just tourist activity.
I play sousaphone, and am keen on outdoor activity. I have rescued dogs and live with a few difficult dogs. Im comfortable around animals and would like to continue to learn about caring for them. Im an Emergency nurse so my skill set is compatible with distressed beings in a chaotic environment. My rock climbing days seem to be numbered, started leading too late and my shoulders and toes complain.. so instead I’m up for animal and a mix of outdoor and indoor work. I was a cook prior to my nursing days and am popular whenever I cater. In my youth I was a competent rider… mustering cattle in Queensland before motor bike and helicopters were the thing.
My last 8 years have been on the front line in emergency department. I’ve curious mind and am creative.Interests

More details about your skills
I am a senior emergency nurse. I play community music in 3 or 4 bands. Sousaphone and accordion. Im a creative person and enjoy problem solving. My most recent challenge was shadow puppetry.
I am a very capable cook. I worked restaurants at the snow and the sunshine coast before my nursing days and then worked on scuba diving boats etc even when I was nursing.
My interests are in animals and community. I wish I had studied animals like my daughter who did vet science, yet I have learned a lot about animals over the years and am pretty calm and competent if dealing with injured animals. I have worked on cattle stations and used to be able to hold my seat though I have not been on a horse in 20 years.
I have 2 rescued dogs at any time and love and am fascinated by all animals.
I am a fair gardener and have been growing native species on my place in the Illawarra escarpment. So Im not recently experienced with vegetable gardens , yet would happily manage those plants as directed. I did feed 4 families with my veges when I lived in the tropics and had a small plot. Im good with kids including play and strong boundaries. I find humans interesting and enjoy sharing, though I do need my down time.Age

What else ...
I enjoy learning and problem solving. I am a rock climber and love the outdoors. safety is a big priority for me.
Im a mother and have adult kids who have taught me a lot about me and the world.
My values are that of recognising the world is a limited resource, how to help influence and reduce waste and destruction matters to me. There are some narrow range things in which Im a perfectionist, and the rest, I recognise value in decent attempts and consistent respect for which ever boundaries/ laws/ protocols direct the endeveour. ( I really don't care for spelling). After all that, and provided it's not harmful , I am a rebel with kindness at my core. Some more information
