  • Description

    Hello :)

I am Sophie from France. I have recently graduated from a master in microbiology and while I am waiting for a PhD offer I decided to do a workaway. I am looking for a mission between January and March.

Before graduating with a master in microbiology I worked as a physical therapist and practiced in Spain, Belgium, Switzerland and France. I love traveling and sharing new experiences with people. I am a middle distance Elite athlete in track and field. I run 1500m, 5000m and 10km. I obtained a scholarship in my college years for track and field in the USA. There, I had the opportunity to discover North America with the races and make friends from all over the world. I am keen on challenges, and like to be useful in any projects and am also concerned about the environment.
I already volunteered in Ecuador as a physical therapist in a special school with children. I also stayed in a community in the Amazon forest to help with maintenance in the fields and welcome travelers. I am always open to learning new skills, laughing and forming new bonds with people !
I can also renovate and paint as I did in a previous workaway in Spain where I helped in the construction of a villa.
