Hey there, I‘m Sophia, a solo traveler, currently taking a gap year and in quest of new experiences and adventures :)
I’m passionate about nature & hiking, love to read a good novel or cook a delicious meal.
Being a vivid & flexible personality, I like to be challenged while trying to learn as much as possible along the way!
After having a beautiful time volunteering as a horse trainer and tour guide in Tanzania and recently helping out on an Estancia in Uruguay, I hope to encounter a similar experience once more through working abroad, meeting amazing people, developing new skills and overall just creating lovely memories!

My parents raised me working in the garden (if that counts as a skill) and volunteer-working on a farm in Tanzania as well as an Estancia in Uruguay gave me a good understanding of farming and animal care.
I have lots of experience in riding and handling horses, as well as guided horse tours. Additionally, I used to work in gastronomy, organized events and guided hiking tours.

Besides that, I’m always open to improve existing skills or - even better - gain new ones! My mindset is very much learning by doing and I enjoy a productive day of work, preferably somewhere in the outdoors :)
