Hey, I'm Anna from Canada! I'm travelling slowly and open-endedly.

I'd love to help out with anything related to eco-tourism, social enterprises, alternative/disability education and animal rescue/therapy. I also love anything that combines art with advocacy and education. (One of my favorite jobs ever was with a theatre program for street-involved youth in Toronto and I'd love to do something like that again.)

Most of my work experience is in non-profits/social services, in mental health/addictions and homelessness. I also have experience teaching English in Quebec and to newcomers in Toronto. I'm good at big picture thinking and I thrive in collaborative environments. I'm a big fan of humour and silliness, but I also enjoy discussing social issues and philosophical questions. ADHD makes me a keen and hands-on learner. I may not be the physically strongest volunteer you've ever had, but I make up for it in resourcefulness and perseverance.

I don't smoke, drink or use drugs. I pretty much already get high on nature, music and dance!

I've received 3+ COVID vaccine doses and am happy to provide proof if needed. I don't know how to drive unfortunately, but I'm flexible with finding rideshares or taking long-distance busses.
