Serena: Hi there!! Something I derive a lot satisfaction from is deep conversation. I love questioning how we act due to our social conditioning and enjoy when others challenge me in the same way. Also, give me a piece of dark chocolate when we're hanging out... and I am happy. I like to bike ride, play tunes on the piano, dance bachata/salsa, and laugh vibrantly with loved ones. Traveling invigorates me because I find it fascinating to observe and learn from cultural environments similar and different to mine. There is so much wisdom and beauty to be explored! I strive to walk into any situation with a curious mind, ready to ask questions. Simplicity, listening, and reflection can teach us a lot, and I am thrilled to see what these Work Away adventures will teach me.
Andrew: Hello! Above all things, I love to create. I love writing, reading, learning about tons of different things. I have a variety of experience in different fields of work. In school, I studied literature and art, then in my commercial work I have done: Photography at HARIBO, Website creation, Magazine creation, Managing a coffee shop, Sales, Construction, Food service, WWOOFing... I love to get a deep understanding of all things that I can. I'm most looking forward to learning new ideas that I would never have encountered at home, expanding my world view, and having conversations with people. I am both extroverted and introverted, depends on what I'm working on :) I spend a lot of my free time lately writing and reading, as I'm working on my first book.

Andrew:

He is very skilled in camera, website, and video design/production.
He currently spends his free time developing his writing and storytelling skills, and is an avid lover of literature.
He has experience in: managing a coffee shop, construction, customer service, sales and corporate communication, and retail. He is creative and determined, and also very excited to learn new skills along the way!
