Description
I am motivated by genuine connection and contribution to others and myself. I am an open minded person, seeking to make a joyful impact on yourself, and hopefully learn a bit about myself along the way! It’s the simple things that bring about happiness in my life, putting a smile on someone’s face, alleviating them of stress, sharing an experience or a cup of tea.
I’m new to workaway, having recently quit my office job and packed up my home in Melbourne. I’m seeking connection and contribution in a variety of environments and contexts - moving onto a new path from where I was back home - through first hand experience.
This path can look many different ways, although my mind and body is committed to the journey. I will give of you and of my skills, knowledge and experiences - I’m good with a computer, physically able, a good listener, an aspiring body worker and meditator. Let’s connect!Interests

My skills are varied and my willingness to learn and adapt is strong.
I’ve studied economics at university, involving writing, mathematics and computing. I’m competent in the field, and have worked as an economist for the Australian government. Working in this field has taught me to be a good communicator, in which I am happy to teach language and computing, and do work for you in this area.
During my studies I worked in hospitality - I was a burger cook for seven years. I love to cook and I take pride in my high level of cleanliness. I’m always keen to help out in the kitchen or with general cleaning. Recently I volunteered at a folk festival in Queensland serving chai, it was busy but so fun!
I’m a physically active person and I love the outdoors. Put me to work in the garden, farming or landscaping. I’d love to learn more skills in the outdoors.
While my background in economics may paint a picture of a rather rigid person, I don’t really fit this archetype. I practice meditation daily and have a keen interest in body work. Recently I completed a course in zen shiatsu, I’d love to expand my practices, including treating more people.
I’m good at learning on the job and will help out wherever is needed!Age

What else ...
I’ve got quite a few interests outside of cooking, meditation and body work.
I love music and dance, centred around connecting to others. If you’re into music, I’d love to hear what you enjoy listen to.
I love the outdoors, especially swimming in the ocean. I recently did a road trip awith my sister all the way from Melbourne up to Brisbane, swimming in the ocean every day - so refreshing and therapeutic!
I like movement and exercise. I’ve dipped my toes into boxing and gymnastics rings. At the moment I’m focusing on yoga and lots of walking! If you do any outdoor activities I’m keen to join.
I’m open minded, and take a strong interest in what others are interested in - this is my nature. Some more information
