Hi there!

My name is Romain, a 29-year-old from France. After working for 5 years as a helicopter engineer at Airbus, I decided to pursue new challenges related to nature, animals, and sustainable living. In 2023, I chose to work on a sheep farm in Iceland and it was an incredible experience. I am comfortable with physical and manual labor and highly motivated to contribute and be as helpful as possible. I'm also very eager to learn about your history, culture, and way of life. It's precisely for these reasons that I'm here today, and I hope to be your next Workawayer.

I grew up in the countryside so I was used to do different kind of physical works at home and during school holidays : gardening in our family house, harvesting in beaujolais vineyards, fruit/vegetable picking (cherries, strawberry, beans, potatoes, laituce), construction works. Speaking of that, I renovated an apartment in south of France in 2022, from A to Z. This was a very instructive experience. moreover, I spent 2 months in Madagascar during summer 2016, to build a maternity.

I'm volunteer for every kind of work and very curious to learn new activities and discover your world and way of living.

I have 2 nieces and 3 nephews (age b/t 0 and 9) so I'm at ease with children and I love playing with them.

Before I entered in active life, i spent 6 months in Asia for my final internship so i'm familiar with expat life.
