Travelling
Description
Hi! I'm Roisín and I'm a solo traveler from Ireland. I graduated university in 2022 and realised that there is no rush to do something I don't love and I've been working and travelling slowly through Asia and Europe since then. My main motivations now are to see new things, create meaningful connections and pick up skills along the way that will enrich me as a human:)
About me: I'm a social and open minded person who will try anything once! I've discovered that I work best as part of a community that I can benefit from and that I can equally contribute to. I'm completely comfortable sharing my space but also like some time to myself to recharge. I love the sun, books, swimming, hiking and I've recently been trying (and mostly failing) to crochet.Interests

More details about your skills
I have many years experience in hospitality, mainly waitressing and hosting in restaurants all through college and some bartending experience also. I’ve spent a lot of time working in various hostels so I have experience in housekeeping, nightshifts, working on reception.
I love to cook and have a lot of experience with preparing vegetarian breakfasts and dinners for up to 30 hostel guests. I like to think I am able to make a good connection with guests and make them feel welcome:) I recently spent four months at a Workaway in the south of the Netherlands as a restaurant supervisor.
I'm fluent in English and Gaeilge (the Irish language). As a native speaker, I would be happy to try and help others improve their English and would love to have someone to practice French with. I would also be happy to teach Gaeilge to anyone with interest in Celtic languages!
I've spent summers volunteering with kids at language based summer camps back home in Ireland and also taught self defense classes for teenagers based on Brazilian Jiu Jitsu fundamentals. My grandad also ran a small sheep farm so I have a little bit of experience in that area.Age

What else ...
I have only a little experience in DIY \ construction type jobs but I am very motivated to expand my abilities in this area! I would really love to gain some practical and physical skills like this by working on a permafarm or renovation project :)
