Hi I'm Renee! After my first big solo trip in 2019, I was ready to gear up for another season bouncing around this earth. But COVID quickly changed my plans. In the last few years, I've worked seasonally in Alaska exploring the mountains and guiding glacier treks. In the off season I've climbed all over the country, learned to ski, and gotten as much out of the states as I can! I am ready to explore more of the world. Soooo I'm trying to get as far as the states as possible. I'm, looking to start my journey near Thailands climbing mecca.

Living in remote Alaska I learned A LOT about problem solving. From basic plumbing and carpentry, to how to get by when you can't run to the store or call for outside help. At one point I was living on the glacier for 5 straight days-- talk about self sufficiency!

I am passionate about agriculture and sustainability. I have found myself drawn towards rural life and smaller communities in which I can make a larger differences. I love hiking, rock-climbing, yoga... anything I can do outside!! On rainy days I love to craft (embroidering is my favorite). Hopefully we can work together and learn from each other :)
