Description
Hi! I'm Rachel. I'm an organized, persistent athlete who likes to cook and read. I'm re-joining workaway to travel a bit for the winter.
My recent experience centers on cooking in remote wilderness settings (up in the mountains in Italy, on an island in Maine, USA). I'm also a gardener, an actor, and a biologist. I love hiking, adore cats, and I give great massages. I'm organized, a good multi-tasker, and I enjoy working with people of all ages. In addition to my own skills (see details below) I am a quick learner and always ready to take on a new task! Please message me if you have any questions!Interests

Teaching/tutoring--I have tutored in Italian and biology, and have worked with children of all ages both in swimming and academics, helping them learn in whatever learning style they favor.
Gardening--I grew up on a commercial organic vegetable farm, and spent a summer working at another vegetable farm in northern Vermont, running the farmstand and harvesting, cleaning, and packing vegetables
Organization--I have always been an organized person, and have managed and ran triathlons, homeschool group theater productions, theater productions, and small graduation events. I've spent the last six years managing a small nonprofit community theater in northern Vermont, handling everything from fundraising and marketing to running the board of directors to box office and backstage work.
Cleaning--I'm a total neat freak and I actually love to clean! Give me an hour and any space you like will be spotless!
