Description

Hello! I'm Rachel and I live the beautiful mountains of North Carolina, where I am an organic vegetable farmer. I just completed my 2nd season at the same farm here, and will be returning for another one come Spring.

It is my dream to someday have my own regenerative livestock farm and a garden. I'm interested in animal processing and have some experience with butchery, hide tanning, etc.

I can play the guitar moderately and I love to sing. Playing music is one of my favorite ways to spend time with people. I also love to craft (sew, crochet, more!) alongside others and play games, too.

I am a hard very worker because I truly love it, I have a strong desire to learn, and I am dependable. I pride myself on being independent but I also find so much joy in being a part of a community and team.

What else ...

I love to cook - especially with ingredients I can trace right back to the source! I think I'm pretty creative and resourceful in the kitchen. I 100% believe meals should be a community affair. I'm talking lots of hands in the kitchen, long and drawn out time at the table with good conversation and lots of laughs.
