Hello, I am Rachel an enthusiastic adventurous gal who loves doing outdoor activities such as surfing, hiking, most sports, and almost anything in nature. I grew up on a plant nursery so I love working with my hands and watching plants grow! Being part of community and learning about new cultures/languages is one of the most beautiful gifts of life. I am always down for a new friend and place as I am very easy going and people-oriented!

I have experience in almost any nursery/farm setting such as weeding, painting, mowing, pruning, some building. I have spent time with children of my friends and family, as well as spent time with young adults in educational setting in a previous internship which required me to speak to several different schools of children about waste managment and climate change(which is something I am passionate about). I took spanish in school, but am conversational at best(willing to learn and practice!). Big people person, I love getting to know and work with people of all cultures.

I am a friendly competitive gal, down for playing any board games, I will try and win(no going easy here)! :) Settlers of Catan is one of my favorites right now. I love exploring and trying/learning to cook new foods as well!
