Hello!

We’re Rich (30) and Jess (25), a British couple who recently traded our 9-to-5 jobs for a year-long adventure. Over the next year, we’ll be exploring parts of South East Asia, Africa, and South America and would love to get involved with some voluntary work along the way :)

Jess has experience in Public Relations, with expertise in copywriting, digital marketing, and media relations. Her background includes working in mental healthcare, supported by a degree in Psychology.

Rich has over seven years of experience in advertising, creating TV commercials and digital content for films and video games. He excels in creative writing, storytelling, and content creation across various marketing platforms.

Overall, we are jack of all traits types and are very happy to get our hands dirty if needed.

Jess: Is passionate about dance, reading and outdoor activities, including hiking and playing sports, such as running and netball. Prior to this trip, I have travelled to various parts of Asia and South America, where I spent a month volunteering in Ecuador rebuilding schools and teaching English. I have a vested interest in charity work, having mentored at a school for children ages 12-13 during my degree and being a Young Ambassador for a UK charity, changing lives of young people through sport.

Rich: An adventurous spirit with a passion for anything outdoorsy! Having left home at 18 to work as kayak instructor in Portugal and a ski-instructor in France, I spent the best part of my early twenties travelling the world and meeting new people. When not on the move, you can find me playing football, watching films and making music.
