I‘m a mechatronic technician from Germany and used to work in the metal industry, mainly working in an IT department, on energy consumption projects and on maintenance for electric machines.
A few years ago, I was staying with a great host at a remote lakesided cottege in Ontario, Canada. I love it and was able to help with general work in and around the house and helped out with repairs and maintenance at a rental cottage. We also prepared the boats and boathouse for the upcoming winter season.
For 6 months, I stayed in a ski resort in Canada as well, where I was working in housekeeping for a big part of the resorts hotels and cabins.
