Hey! We are Pops and Nico, two students from the UK.
We love collaborative outdoor work and working with like-minded people!
Together we have worked festivals in the UK, so we are used to living out of our packs :) we both love music and swimming.
Hi! I'm Pop, a 20-year-old Textile student studying in Plymouth. I am a kind and compassionate person who loves walking in nature, baking and cooking.
I am a creative (always drawing, embroidering and much more!) and no doubt you will find me dancing and singing when I work!
I have been vegan for 6 years and have deep care and love for animals. Being plant-based has helped me to experiment and be playful in the kitchen, and sharing my baking brings me joy! I never leave the house without a pack of cards (a tip my brother gave me, and it has made the best memories!) Playing cards was how me and Nico became friends!
I am keen to expand my skill set and meet lovely people along the way, I am motivated to learn different ways of life, reduce waste and make use of resources available around me.
I am excited to share my adventures with you! See you soon x
Hey, I’m Nico, I’m 19 and I study fashion in Manchester. I’m passionate about human rights, festivals and connection with the land. I grew up on a smallholding in the Southwest and both my parents are land workers, so I’m familiar with more alternative and off-grid lifestyles. Community is really important to me so I’m excited to meet new people and discover new ways of life. I’m pretty adventurous and outgoing, always up for a laugh or a game of Irish snap! In Manchester, you can find me at second-hand clothes shops, or out for the night with friends. But back home I’m either cooking, at the beach or going on walks with my dog. I’m an avid learner, interested in any knowledge you can pass on, and especially curious about conservation at the minute. I look forward to meeting you and sharing in your passions!! xxInterests

What else ...
Pop - I grew up in Bristol and moved to Plymouth for my Textile Degree.
I walk around the coastline often, mainly to Bovisand beach where I dance to my music!
My dad inspired my love for walking, he did a lot of charity walks when I was a child, and I aim to do the same!
My family loves board games and my all-time favourite is Sleeping Queens which I played so much when I was younger so it's a little worse for wear!
I have a cat (Chico) and dog (Ellie) back in Bristol, love them so much and miss them dearly now that I have moved away.
I am an activist, for our earth and people - particularly: queer rights, and women's rights, especially around violence and abuse.
I have a passion for slow fashion and finding ways to make our already-preowned garments last longer, by darning and mending. As well as making our clothes personal to us with gorgeous embellishments like my hand-embroidered patches.
Nico - I am very inspired by my parents, my mum is a herbalist and small-scale sheep farmer, and my dad is a veg grower and an alternative therapy practitioner.
I am passionate about land workers' rights and am a member of the Land Workers' Alliance.
I am also influenced by the beautiful queer scene in Manchester.
My goal is to facilitate the integration of queer and land-based communities.
I am interested in sustainable fashion and I am currently producing a magazine, about the role of technology in fashion.
I hope to do more fashion journalism in the future as well. Some more information
