Hi! My name is Pol and I’m a 23-year-old student from Barcelona. I recently graduated from Civil Engineering, currently doing my master’s in structural engineering, and I am highly interested in sustainable and efficient construction. I love travelling, music, getting to know people, hiking, skiing… and this summer I would love to find a workaway close to nature and also related to my studies.
I have done several workaways in Canada, Panama, and Thailand before, and I am a huge lover of travelling, meeting new people and cultures, discover amazing places and practice foreign languages (I speak Catalan and Spanish (native), and then English, French and learning others).
I am a very active person, whose only purpose when travelling is getting to know the place, meeting local people and other travelers, having the best time possible together, and sharing stories and knowledge. I am very hard-working and trustworthy, but also funny, sociable, and open-minded.
I hope we can connect through Workaway and get along to spend some valuable days this late summer and remember this experience forever.

Due to my degree in Civil Engineering I've some knowledge in structures, design and any kind of construction actually, not only to teach, but I would also love to learn some skills during the next workaway.
I'm also good at teaching, like maths or languages, such as spanish or english. I play the piano as well and really love music in general.
I also love doing most kind of sport, hiking, camping, skiing, tennis, swimming...
During my last summers I have done several workaways (Quebec, Panama, Thailand) in hostels and retreats where I learned some skills in reception, hospitality, general maintenance (painting, building) and sociable/ public relations, but this summer I would love to work specially in sustainable projects and construction.
