Description
Hi everyone! I love traveling because by exploring different places I get to meet new people and learn about their cultures. I have a special appreciation for Spanish/Latin American culture because I have been studying Spanish since I was 3 years old. Finding a placement in Latin America would allow me to immerse myself into the exciting culture and explore a new continent.
My favorite pastime includes exploring the outdoors. I enjoy activities such as hiking, wildlife viewing, photography, and snorkeling. I am lucky to have gotten the opportunity to participate in these activities during my two study abroad experiences in Spain and New Zealand. My study abroad experiences made me want to explore more of the world.
I was a figure skating coach for 3 years and I am passionate about teaching kids. I have experience volunteering at schools where I assisted teachers in bilingual classrooms.Interests

I was a competitive figure skater for 12 years. I worked together with my coaches to analyze my strengths and weaknesses to develop new training programs for myself. Later, when I became a figure skating coach, I worked efficiently with my coaching team to create a positive environment for the skaters. I have taught figure skaters between the ages of 2-30, and levels from beginner to advanced. I loved to share my passion for figure skating with my students to get them excited about learning to skate.
I graduated from college with degrees in Spanish, Finance, and economics. I also have experience tutoring Spanish when I volunteered at a bilingual school (Henry Johnson School) and a bilingual after school program (Henry Hyde Resource Center). Here I practiced my Spanish speaking skills by helping students learn both Spanish and English.Age
