Description
I'm a fairly adventurous person having travelled a lot over many years. Tend to be easy going as a traveller. I have done voluntary work in the past in my life and also worked with many people who were in difficult situations in their life. I worked with young homeless people for several years and also with families helping them build better relationships. I enjoy the company of others generally and like meeting people from all backgrounds and cultures. I'm looking forward to doing voluntary work with work away.

I am a very avid walker over all kinds of terrain, from canal paths, walking in cities and mountainous terrain. I have completed several Caminos. I enjoy cycling and cycled through the West Bank in 2013 with a group of Europeans and this was known as the Peace Cycle. I enjoy board games such as Cribbage, Chess, draughts and many card games.
I have worked voluntarily over the years including on a Tenants and residents committee in the estate I lived on. I was their treasurer and also worked voluntarily for the Citizens advice bureau helping and advising people with all kinds of issues.
I have travelled to many countries, particularly Asia, Central Asia, Europe, Oceania and to some extent South and Central America. Still places to see.

I volunteered with Marta for two weeks in March this year. Marta was having a new stove installed and one of our first tasks was to demolish the old stove which was a brick and tile construction. I very much enjoyed my stay with Liz in South of France in which I was there for 4 weeks. The location is fabulous in a small village where there are plenty of good walks in your spare time.
