Hi! My name is Ona and I’m from Spain. I’ve always been curious about the world around me, with a deep love for nature and a passion for learning. After finishing high school, I decided to take a gap year to explore new cultures, volunteer, and focus on personal growth before diving into my biology studies at university.
During my gap year and beyond, I have been deeply involved in conservation projects, education, and community initiatives across different countries. I’ve worked on sea turtle conservation in Costa Rica, participated in marine debris removal expeditions in Norway, and collaborated with local communities in France and Spain on nature conservation projects. This has allowed me to develop strong communication skills, adaptability, and an appreciation for teamwork in diverse environments.
My friends would describe me as open-minded, determined, and hard-working. I love connecting with nature — hiking, exploring new ecosystems, and observing local wildlife. I'm also passionate about outdoor sports like skiing, climbing, and swimming.
Creativity is a big part of my life too: I played the clarinet in an orchestra, enjoy painting and drawing, and love learning new languages.
I am curious, motivated, and love to engage in meaningful projects. Whether it's conservation, education, manual work, or cultural exchange, I’m excited to contribute and learn wherever I go!Interests

More details about your skills
I enjoy and am good at manual work such as building, crafts, and gardening. I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty and love creating things from scratch using my knowledge and skills. I learn quickly, adapt easily to new situations, and work well both independently and in a team.
I have experience working in hostels, helping with reception, guest support, and keeping common areas clean, as well as volunteering in private homes with cleaning, cooking, childcare, and basic maintenance. I've also taught high school students and enjoy working with children, creating fun and supportive environments for them.
I'm organized, responsible, hardworking, creative, open-minded, and always ready to learn and contribute wherever I go.Age
