Hi! My name is Ona and I’m from Spain. I have just finished high school and started a gap year before going to university. During this year, I would love to travel and discover new places and cultures, learn new abilities, meet new people and live new adventures to be able to grow as an individual and to discover my aim in life.

My friends would probably describe me as an open-minded, determined and hard-working person. I love being in contact with nature, going for walks and getting to know new fauna and flora. I also like to be active, doing sports like skiing, climbing or swimming. I play the clarinet in an orchestra and can play a little bit the piano and ukulele. In my free time, I like to paint, draw, read, cook or learn new languages.

Despite my age, I have a fair amount of volunteering experience. I've participated in two work camps in Spain, focusing on nature conservation activities like beach cleanups, birdhouse building, and weed removal. Additionally, I’ve volunteered in France, assisting an older couple with their grandchildren and household chores.

Last but not least, I love enjoying the magic of simple moments.

I love, and I am good at any activity that involves manual work, such as building, crafts, gardening... I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty and I am always willing to learn more about these type of activities. I love being able to create things from scratch using my knowledge and skills. I also consider myself a good apprentice, I can learn new abilities quickly.

I have some experience babysitting children of different ages. With them, I like to do any kind of activity and life fun moments, making them feel understood and comfortable. During this last year, I've been giving school reinforcement classes to high school students, helping them with their homework, studying for their exams... Therefore, I have experience teaching.

My most outstanding skills are my capability to adapt to any new situation and find my place wherever I go, and my organization abilities. I consider myself a hardworking person who likes things done right, but who also lets herself be carried away in the moments that it is opportune. I'm creative, open-minded and tolerant.
