Description

Hi! My name is Owen, and I’m graduating from university this December before starting my full-time job in July. I have a rare six-month window where I’m completely free, and I want to use it to finally step outside my comfort zone and experience the world a little before I’m sentenced to a lifetime inside an office.

I’ve never done anything truly adventurous in my life — no backpacking, no long-term travel, nothing wild. But that’s exactly why I’m here. I want to push myself, see new places, meet new people, and learn from experiences that I’d never get by staying home.

I’m a very social and outgoing person, someone who makes friends easily and loves connecting with people from all backgrounds. I enjoy good conversations, exploring new environments, and being part of a community wherever I go. Whether it’s helping around a homestay, working outdoors, assisting with a project, or pitching in wherever needed, I’m more than willing to work hard and contribute.

I have about three years of experience working in the restaurant and hospitality industry, so I’m very comfortable helping with cooking, cleaning, hosting guests, and keeping things organized. I enjoy working with people and I’m used to fast-paced environments.

I’ve also spent the past two years working in finance, which has made me reliable, detail-oriented, and good at communicating clearly with a team. I’m quick to learn new tasks and take responsibility seriously.

On top of that, I’ve done consistent strength training for a few years, so I’m able to handle manual labor, lifting, or any physical work that needs to get done.
