Description
We are a young couple from Amsterdam, with our ons year old son Noam, who love to travel and take any chance to explore different countries, cultures, cuisines, people and environments.
Nilo did a bachelor in philosophy, religious studies, anthropology and law and a master in Applied Ethics last year. His hobbies are cooking and reading. Nilo aims to change the world in a positive and sustainable way, by using philosophy to help individuals, teams and organisations.
Iris did a bachelors in art history, philosophy and neuroscience and a masters in sociology. She likes to draw and paint, and loves to learn new things and engage in social/creative projects.
We are both caring, friendly and open minded individuals who don't mind doing some hard work, are able to work independently and love to learn by doing.
After working for a couple of years in our hometown of Amsterdam we feel the urge to live a communual life that's more in tune with nature. That's why we are looking to stay and help people in the south of Europe that are already realizing this dream.
We have a easygoing and natural approach to parenting, which means that we want to be close to each other and provide Noam with a life filled with nature, play, kind people and space to develop his natural interests.

We are very openminded people who are eager to learn new things! As we would love to someday start an ecocommunity ourselves (or join one) we would love to learn more about taking care of a big vegetable garden, being able to live sustainable and self-sufficient and everything that comes with that.
Nilo is strong and does not mind doing physical work like gardening, harvesting, chopping wood, weeding, etc. He is also very good at facilitating (socratic) dialogues and giving workshops and trainings about a wide range of topics.
Iris is very creative and can make beautiful paintings and drawings. She is also very good with children and recently started a small balcony vegetable garden. She also used to work at a vertical farm so she has some knowledge of advanced techniques for growing food and a general sense of maintaining a farm.
We both have lots of experience working in bars and restaurants, working as a bartender, host/hostess, or cook. We also both have experience in teaching kids and love to play. We have good communication skills and are able to interact well with everybody.
