My greatest skills are leadership, hard work, adaptability, and teaching. I've volunteered to plan and lead mountaineering trips for youth, as well as trekked solo in wilderness areas for 3+ weeks at a time. Professionally, I've provided gear advice / customer service in the outdoor industry, performed automotive maintenance, done carpentry / construction, and cared for yards. I'm handy with tools, and can pick up new skills quickly. I can speak conversational Spanish (though looking to improve it!), and am able to put my normal life aside to fully immerse myself in new places, cultures, and experiences.

I love everything outdoors, be it rock climbing, mountaineering, or long-distance-backpacking. I'm learning guitar, am always down for a game of Egyptian Ratscrew in the hostels!
