Hey there! My name is Nathan Semmens. I am 21 years old and from Fort Collins, Colorado in the United States. I'm really motivated by experience. I've been super blessed to have been able to travel more than is common for a person my age (11 countries and counting!) and I'm really seeking to explore even more of the beautiful world we live in! I love to explore and be outside. I'm an avid mountain biker, skier, rockclimber and hiker! I also really enjoy reading, cooking and playing music so if anyone has a guitar I can borrow while I'm down in New Zealand, I will love you forever! I'm just really out there to explore so any opportunity to do that is just so so special to me! I'm so excited to meet you!
I think the most important thing to me is just escaping the path of the regular tourist. I've been so blessed to have been able to spend time doing volunteer work in Catadupa, Jamaica and that's where my love for real, genuine connection with people in the places I travel was born. I would be so grateful to have the opportunity to experience what life is really like where you are! I would love to spend time with your family and learn more about your lives!

Ok skills wise I'd like to believe I'm pretty well rounded! I grew up on 50 acres of land raising cattle so I've worked as a ranch hand, dairy hand, and farm hand in the past. I like gardening and I can do basic craftsmanship tasks! I used to do small project carpentry. I'm a really fast learner so I can pick up anything you may need help with as long as you're willing to show me the ropes!
I have 5 siblings so I've had ton of practice hanging out with kids/babysitting as well! I'm great with animals and LOVE pets.

I really value deep and thoughtful conversations. The reason I'm choosing to travel is because I just really want to learn more about the world as well as my place in it! I want to hear your stories and learn about your life! The hustle and bustle of living in the US is so draining sometimes and I just want to take time to slow down and appreciate the special little things in life. A mentor of mine once told me to "slow down and smell the flowers" and that's what I'm trying to do. Thank you so much for taking the time to read about me!
