Hello :) I’m Serena an artist from New Zealand! My major three passions that lead my life are creative arts, music making, and connecting with nature.
I work in horticulture so I prefer hands on laborious jobs (ideally outside) that allows me to learn about native fauna and local practices. I love waking up with the sun and being in water. Big heart for all living creatures, from bugs to human beings.Interests

✿ Managed a plant nursery
✿ Knowledge in propagation, plant husbandry/maintenance, bio security, potting and general field work/landscaping.
✿ Full license and can drive an Avant Loader/forklift
Creative Arts
✿ Painter: My personal style is surrealism but I simply love to mark make in all styles. I can do commissions for detailed works to large scale murals
✿ Musician: I make alternative rock music. I can teach beginners guitar, viola and piano. Also tutor music theory. I have knowledge in setting up a live stage (speakers and mixing) for performances.
General Hospitality
✿ Worked in restaurants and cafes: Experience with customers in fast pace environments. Serving and preparing food.
✿ Volunteered in hostels: Upholding the importance to make good first impressions for new travellers. Being approachable, social and upbeat in a hostel environment. Help with organising events and day trips.
Kaizen trained and can teach how to implement it. It is a Japanese methodology that encourages continuous improvement.
