**UPDATE 01.02.24**
We are around Tavira and started working digital fulltime, also have a place to live. Therefore we can not stay at workaways "fulltime" but we are still interested in helping with projects in the area when we have time off! Keep in touch! 👩🏼‍🌾👨🏽‍🌾

We just finished the Camino Frances and walked about 800km by foot 🦶🏽

We are a couple from Germany, slow travelers, searching for long term stays in which we can contribute and participate.

If you're seeking committed and enthusiastic participants for your project, we‘re the right choice!

We both are very interested in gaining more experience and skills in handcrafts (renovation, building, woodwork, etc.), permaculture and gardening, Ayurveda, natural healing methods, animal care.

In exchange we can offer full commitment and attention to the work given and a happy and respectful attitude :-)

Mona:
i am a skilled optician and worked the past two years in an eye clinic in Germany.
Though I am much more of an outdoor person and missed the physical rewarding part the last years!

During my travels I could gain experience ranging from fruitpicking, planting and weeding, pruning, animal care (feeding cattle, cleaning paddocks, etc.) to digging a pond, repairing fences and general maintenance.

I also have experience in hospitality (as a waitress and barista) and tourism (reception work and housekeeping)

I'm confident working physical, I can cook (mostly freestyle) vegetarian dishes and play the piano.

personally I would enjoy getting more involved in working with animals, improve handcraft skills, especially renovating and building and also very interested in gardening, planting, Ayurveda, natural healing methods.


Pierre:
I've been working as a purchasing and process manager mainly in the solar industry, but recently shifted my focus and worked the last year as a bartender and in gastronomy.

I enjoy making delicious meals and playing my guitar in my free time.

I'm the kind of person who likes getting things done – reliable and hands-on. If you give me a task, I'll handle it with enthusiasm.

I'm excited to improve my handcraft skills and I'm open for any opportunity for personal and professional growth.
