Description
I'm an earth science student from Utrecht, and I love rocks and nature. My appreciation for the earth we live on is a large part of who I am. I try to learn about it, be aware, and be grateful. Back in 2021 I bought a bright yellow van and turned it into my own tiny home on weels. I love travelling, discovering new places, and finding spontaneous adventures in everyday life.
As part of my study program, I will be studying in Kingston, Ontario for a semester coming fall. However, I greatly value my time away from academia, and want to discover and learn more about Canada when I'm there. In the time that I have, I am looking forward to getting to know the culture of Canadians from the inside by doing a workaway and integrating into day-to-day life.
I'm an enthusiastic, open, and caring human being, not afraid to get my hands dirty. I'm looking forward to my journey in Canada, and I hope to find a lovely stay.

I have converted a van into a tiny camper, so I know my way around tools and woodwork. Addionally, through my large plant collection of around 30 plants (in my small student room ;) ), I have picked up a thing or two about taking care of them. I have never had a garden, but I'm positive that I'll pick it up quickly.
I love cooking and baking, discovering new recipes and trying new foods. I would consider myself quite experienced in the kitchen. I've worked in a bakery for over 6 years now.

There is much work around, all sorts of different stuff and there is lots of time to explore and work on what you find interesting.
