Hi, I’m Michela, from Italy. When I was younger, I was definitely an adventurous person. Now I can say that I still am, but with a bit more caution. I can adapt easily to different situations, I’m flexible and friendly. I enjoy working in team with other people, cooperating, and exchanging ideas. I don’t really like staying behind a desk. I love animals and being in contact with nature. This year, I started a journey of Yoga and meditation that has been very fulfilling. But above all, I am a teacher (of Mathematics): I work with students aged 11 to 18, and I am happy with my profession. I have also worked with students with disabilities: thanks to this, I’ve had unique experiences that I always carry with me, and they influence the way I view life and interact with others. I love the sea and swimming, and I love seeing marine animals, both fish and mammals. I’d like to have the opportunity to visit new beaches, outside of Europe. I’d like to improve my ability to speak and understand English, and I’d also like to start practicing some Spanish. I’d like to know cultures different from my own, far away in terms of origins and traditions. I love listening to music, singing, dancing, reading books, and eating together. I recently discovered Workaway and I am looking for my first experience. I’m 53 years old.

, I am a teacher (of Mathematics): I work with students aged 11 to 18, and I am happy with my profession. I have also worked with students with disabilities: thanks to this, I’ve had unique experiences that I always carry with me. I love animals and being in contact with nature. If someone guides me, I can work in gardens and orchards, on farms with animals, help in the kitchen; I am independent when it comes to handling everyday cleaning tasks. I am very patient, I love reading and telling stories. I really like Yoga, even if I'm a beginner. I have volunteering experience in hospital of my city ("ASMN Reggio Emilia) mainly in pediatrics ("Casina dei bimbi"), but also with elderly people.
