Description
We are a family of 3 - November, Danny and our 10-year old son, Halley - slow travelling from Singapore across the world on a sabbatical in 2025.
Collectively, we have travelled to over 30 countries across 5 continents. However, having lived and work in different countries at different points in our lives, we miss slow travelling and living like locals in different countries.
After decades of work, we have both left our professional jobs to take a break to recharge our souls, regain our stamina health and fitness, spend more time with family, world schooling our son, to be outdoors, reconnect with nature, learn from other communities and experience the world together.
We are looking to change our pace of life, explore open-ended possibilities, experience life as digital nomads working on our separate book projects and start up our own boutique heritage consultancy. Most importantly, spend time with our son.
As a family, we want to learn about the world. Being active volunteers in our own community, I hope to learn from, be involved and give back to heritage and building conservation projects around the world. I am looking to grow my circle, make friends, exchange knowledge, and learn from you.
We look forward to meeting you!Interests

We enjoy cooking and baking and are generally clean and tidy folks. We love music, art and animals. We may not be the most skilled but I'd like to think we make up with our heart. We may not be the most able bodied volunteers you will find but we hope to make up for it with our sincerity to learn, willingness to try anything and contribute to the most of our (limited?) abilities.Age

What else ...
We love board games and jigsaw puzzles. During COVID-19, November started several international jigsaw puzzle communities in Singapore to bring people together while being contactless. It evolved into a very strong community of inter-generational bonding where the young and old interact away from devices. Please invite us to puzzle if you love puzzling too :)
Our family loves learning languages and sharing about cultures. While it may not be our objective and goal for being on workaway, it's something we will enjoy doing with every one we meet.
Halley is a curious and gifted child, loves science and history, learning about places and contributing to the community. He may look tiny but we hope he will have a chance to contribute and help out as well! Some more information
