Hello, I'm a newbie here! I'm Micah McDaniel and I use he/them pronouns. I am fully vaccinated and I have had my booster shot. I just left my office job and home in Dallas, TX to travel. I used to go out hiking and swimming all the time, but the work demands of work made it difficult for me to find the time to explore in nature.
My long term goals for this next journey in life is to get back to nature and grow as a person. I want to stay in places that have kind, wonderful energy.
I love to go on long hikes in new places, swim wherever there are natural swimming spots, and garden. I want to get back into writing short stories as well. I can make fantastic trail mix.
I also have my little travel buddy, Hattie, with me. She is my Emotional Support Animal (cat). She is friendly with people but less so with other animals. She has all of her vaccines and has flea medicine so that will not be an issue.

I would love to learn Spanish. I was able to speak it as a child, but I have lost the ability to speak it as I have grown older. I would love to help others learn English if they wish.

I have a variety of experience. I have had multiple jobs working with children as young as two and as old as 18. I was a desk clerk for a busy residence hall on my university's campus, so I have experience working a front desk where I was in charge of the safety of residents and visitors. Through this experience I have learned to work with people in a hospitality setting and I have been prepared for emergencies if they arise. I also have spent quite a bit of my time in nature so I am experienced in hiking and camping. I would love to get more experience working in nature and natural settings.

I have been finding my passion for art again through journaling. My whole life before college was about art, but I did not have much time to be creative while in school. I love to paint and doodle when I have the time. I like to play DnD, but I am still learning how to play it.
