Hi, I'm Mia. I'm a lot like my Dad, who taught me to be a hard and dedicated worker, to be honest and kind, and that it is always worth it to put in the added effort in for people. These have been leading principles in my life. That combined with my love to travel, is what has led me here on Workaway (I started a year on Worldpackers, where I have two complete experiences totaling two months).

Also, I love to learn. Like some of my favorite people in my life, I aspire to be adept in different things, while still having my strong suits. Being a professional photographer and media maker, I am fulfilled by providing that gift to people and the programs I spend time with.

In traveling and in life, I believe in taking in long quiet moments, and seeking out adventures beyond my dreams. I believe in bringing other people along for the ride, and lifting them up to see the view. I'm excited by life and by others-- and I'm excited for what's next.

I've recently fell in love with cooking, going from learning the absolute basics to whipping up a curry, a marinara, or my favorite peanut noodles on a whim. This is a skill I'm most interested in working in. I'm currently most interested in learning Thai cuisine.

I've worked in the film and photography field for five years, most extensively photographing people and organizations. I am an interviewer and storyteller, and intermediate writer. In my work experience, I have been around many people, and enjoy it immensely! I can provide work upon asking, no problem!

I've spent two years renovating an old RV trailer and lived in it while doing so, which brought on a light carpentry, painting, and woodworking skill.

Other various, lesser skills involve cleaning, farm and animal work, and working customer service. I am always looking to improve on new skills, as I pick up on things quickly and love to learn.
