Activities i am interested in:

I enjoy hiking and discovering new places but also drawing, cooking, dancing... During summer I like escaping from the hot and urban Barcelona to the nature, which makes me feel so happy and peaceful.

Description

The idea of doing a workaway has been on my mind for a long time: collaborating with a local project in another country, meeting and interacting with new people and cultures and living experiences beyond the familiar... sounds great!
I have finally found the time to do it and I am looking forward to take this opportunity to be in contact with nature, to be in a smaller and more rural environment and to work and collaborate in activities that I like but that I usually can't dedicate time due to my routine.

I'm a primary school teacher (I love children!), I live in Barcelona and I am an active, curious, enthusiastic and sociable person. I love what I do, but I also enjoy discovering other worlds, other opinions and learning new things!

I really enjoy the mountain and I'm also passionate about art and crafts in general, I'm very interested in gastronomy and I have a lot of fun dancing and playing games ( I try to not lose the kid inside me ;P ).

I am a person who treats what surrounds me with love and patience: people, nature, animals...

I really like doing activities that involve manual production: creating objects, art, cosmetics, food production/cooking... I take painting lessons since I was a child and I've also attended ceramics and sewing lessons!

On top of being a teacher I'm also a journalist and I'm interested in social and human topics, I like writing and expressing my ideas as well as listening to others. I also enjoy languages: I speak Spanish, Catalan and Italian as mother tongues, I speak English fluently and a bit of French.

Volunteering for me has always been very enriching and rewarding. I worked in Malawi (Africa) as a volunteer in a school and I would love to repeat the experience of going outside of my comfort zone and learning something new.
