Hi! My name is Megan and Im currently residing in Colorado for school, but will be attending Lincoln University in New Zealand in February! Im hoping to travel to NZ early and find a place to stay! I love being outdoors and being involved with family, friends, and animals. I enjoy hiking and backpacking, as well as surfing, snowboarding, yoga, and horseback riding. Im always happiest when I'm on a horse!
Im also very passionate about sustainable agriculture and wildlife conservation and plan on pursuing a career in one or the other.

I have the skills and abilities for animal care, including large animals (hands-on experience with cows and calves). I can also help in the training and care of young animals, including horses, dogs, cats, birds, and rabbits. In the house, I can clean and Im very good at organizing (office space, kitchen, barn, etc.) Outside the house, I am also really good in the garden and have experience weeding and managing plants. Im use to hard work and am fine with ranch work and lifting heavy things! I can also paint if needed and do DIY projects.
Ive also been riding english and been around horses ever since I was 4 so I'm comfortable with handling high-spirited and green horses. I can muck stalls, clean tack, hack horses, etc.
