Maud

I'm a passionate hiker and nature lover, so I spend my free time in the mountains, trekking, sleeeping outside, and eating "fondue". I grew up in the Jura moutains in France. I love travelling to wild places like Iceland, Norway, Canada, Kyrgyzstan or Russia, on foot, by bus or by car. I also love cooking and trying out new recipes. My favourite dish to cook is risotto :) I have a PhD in urban planning and I'm a university teacher.

Nicolas

I'm a carpenter and designer (http://nicolasgranger.fr/interior). I'm passionate about woodworking and construction, I have my own business since 6 years. I grew up in the countryside and love nature and animals. I'm also good hiker, as well as a touring cyclist. I travelled around Europe by bike for a few months.

We lived in Besançon, a small french city next to switzerland. Since july 2023, we are travelling together, to discover south america, and especially the andean moutains that make us dream for a long time. We are travelling by car (a 4X4).

Maud

- I worked for 6 summers in a restaurant, as a waitress and barmaid. I'm used to dealing with stressful situations, talking to customers, managing bookings, and so on.
- I have a master of geography with a speciality in cartography, and a phd concerning the sustainable development of cities. I can do cartography (walking routes for example, or locate a place), and I'm very good at using computer tools (word, excel, powerpoint). I also know how to use drawing software (such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop) to create illustrative content.
- I organise a lot of multi-day treks for myself and my friends. I know how to read a map, find my way around and prepare an itinerary.
- I'm also a good cook, according to my friends :)

Nicolas
- I know how to do carpentry and make wooden furniture, and I know about woden structure and renovating houses. I'm good with my hands.
- I used to have a vegetable garden in France, and I know a few things about it.
- I also know how to use design software.
