Hi ! I joined workaway to discover the world and more importantly, the people in it. I took a gap year during my political sciences degree as I felt it was too abstract for me, and I wanted to enjoy things that bring me joy, such as art, teaching, organising events and helping with manual projects. I'm very curious, very energetic and am very outgoing! I'm from France, I grew up with a younger brother I often found myself taking care of (speak of parentified eldest daughters). I enjoy helping people, connecting with them no matter who they are - although I do not enjoy bigots. I can't stand injustice and discrimination. I'm fonder of the nature than the city, but what I'm really looking for is to connect with you and for us to become good friends. I'm quite good with animals, too!

I've volunteered in various animal shelters, ranging from the more ordinary cats and dogs care; down to wild birds, rodents and mammals.

I worked as a babysitter, qualified to take care of kids from one to ten year old.

I often do some handywork and gardening with my family, and all that I don't know precisely how to do, I am willing to learn. I am a very quick learner.

I worked in my father's guesthouse, a kind of small hotel, where I worked both as cleaning lady, but also oversaw the exchanges with the supplier, as well as greeting the clients in and out.

I have my driver's license and have never been involved in any accident of any sort.

What else ...

I'm a very creative, crafty person, and as such I love drawing, painting, and creating things with my hands. I love movies and music, especially the piano and harp, which I unfortunately don't play (but I'm practicing playing ukulele!). I love board games, with my favourite being Cluedo, and am trying to get better at Chess. Cooking and baking are a big part of my life, as I often try out new recipes I discover.
And lastly, hikes and going on walks are my favourite things.
