Hi everybody, here it's Celeste!
I am an Italian PhD student at Cranfield University (UK) in environmental science. As I am finishing writing my thesis, I'm looking for a nice stay around Bedford/London, to have a cultural exchange with locals, while transitioning into the next phase :)

I've been using Workaway for years, in France, Catalunya, Denmark and Latin America and I always had great experiences. I have volunteered as an Au Pair, helping with environmental projects (eco tourism, reforestation, permaculture), artistic residency and helping in a B&B with room attendance and kitchen chores.

In general, I am a creative, hard working and positive person. I believe in mutual respect. I really love meeting new people and sharing opinions, ideas, projects, dreams as curiosity and enthusiasm are keys for me.

I have experience as waitress, kitchen porter and help, cook in Belgium and Italy. I got some experiences in offices and houses cleaning in Denmark, during my MSc studies. I got some skills in pottery, due to some courses I did in Spain and Italy and to some family's interests in it; some experience in theatre, private teaching, babysitting (5+ yo), museum guiding etc.
I am physically fit, as I love practicing different sports, and that may be useful for some little heavier tasks in the fields or with animals.

Happy to organise a schedule together, keeping it flexible based on the needs of both parties :)
As I'm in the final stage of writing my thesis, I need to dedicate some time for it daily and I'd need a good WiFi connection. Occasionally, I'd need to reach Cranfield for in person meeting, by public transport.
