Hi!! My name is Margaux and I'm 24 years old. I'm half French and half Canadian (from Quebec). I'm currently studiyng Medicine in Montreal at Université de Montréal. I speak French, English and Spanish (my spanish is getting a bit rusty but still). I love to work with people and challenge myself mentally and physically. I also love the outdoors ; climbing, hiking, skiing, wild swimming, and camping. I hold the sea close to my heart as I spent 9 months on a beautiful tall ship sailing around the Atlantic. I had the chance to travel with my parents and I am now looking for longer cultural exchange. I also would love if this experience allows me to learn more about manual skills (wood work, agriculture, etc). Finally, I did one workaway in Mexico 4 years ago and I really liked my experience.

I am a fast learner, I'm organized, and eager, as my studies require me to. I worked in a restaurant as a cook, I tutored high school students for 8 years, and I sailed on a 60m tall ship 9 months (20 000 nautical miles). I cared for elders during the pandemics. I also volunteered within my community in an emergency response team. I have years of experience in organizing community sponsored events, ranging from fundraisers, awareness campaign, to artistic activities nights to bring the community together. I love to work with people!
