Hello! My name is Maisy and im from Australia. I'm motivated by opportunities to learn new skills and connect with people from diverse backgrounds. I love spending time with dogs (I have a 10-year-old cocker spaniel at home that I love dearly) and would be thrilled to learn how to horse ride as it has always been a life goal of mine. My future plans involve studying to become a journalist for a few years before transitioning into a primary school teaching role, as I'm passionate about both storytelling and education. I enjoy deep conversations about philosophy and politics and often find myself lost in a good book (Currently reading the poems of W.B Yeats). I'm eager to bring my curiosity, enthusiasm, and love for learning to any place I visit, and I look forward to contributing while also soaking up as much knowledge and experience as possible.

I have a range of skills that I’m eager to share and develop further. As an aspiring journalist, I’m experienced in writing, research, and storytelling, and I enjoy creating engaging content. I also work at a children's play centre and do casual babysitting, which has helped me develop strong skills in childcare, communication, and creating fun, educational activities for kids. I'm comfortable working with animals, especially dogs, and would love to assist with any animal care needs. I enjoy reading and learning so am always open to expanding my knowledge. I’m a quick learner who’s happy to take on new challenges, whether it’s gardening, cooking, or general maintenance. I'm adaptable, enthusiastic, and ready to contribute wherever needed.

"I'm a big fan of board games, especially those that involve creativity and strategy, like Dungeons and Dragons. I also have a passion for photography and love capturing unique moments and places through my lens. Music is a huge part of my life—I enjoy listening to indie artists like Adrianne Lenker and Phoebe Bridgers, as well as some older favourites like Radiohead and The Cranberries.

I’m a casual video game fan, and in my downtime, you’ll often find me immersed in a good book. Some of my favorites are Everything I Know About Love, No Longer Human, Blue Nights, Normal People, and Antigone Rising. I also enjoy casually playing bass and would love to expand my musical skills further.
