Hello, I'm Maddy, and I'm excited about the chance to join and help out on your project. I love any experience that challenges me to grow and try something new. I’m especially motivated by connecting with people from different backgrounds and learning about their stories and experiences. I find happiness in the simple moments - whether it’s working outdoors, enjoying a meal with others, or discovering a new way to solve a problem. Recently, I made the decision to leave my corporate office job to embark on a travel journey across Southeast Asia, starting in January. Along the way, I hope to volunteer as much as possible. I have always had a strong passion for languages. I studied French to degree level and then continued to develop my language skills through work. This experience has allowed me to connect more deeply with the culture and its people. I enjoy exploring different cultures through their languages, traditions, and cuisines. Learning about others enriches my perspective and helps me appreciate the diversity of our world. I’m excited to meet new people and share experiences that broaden our understanding of each other.

I enjoy staying active through running, hiking, and other outdoor activities. Being in nature is a great way for me to unwind.

I also love live music and frequently attend concerts. There's something special about the energy of a live performance.

Cooking is another hobby of mine; I enjoy trying new recipes and exploring different cuisines. I’m always up for sharing a meal and discovering new flavours!
