Description
Hello, my name is Mac (nickname from my middle name) and I am a young adventurer beginning my journey in the world! I am a hardworking, nature-driven person, always willing to lend a helping hand wherever needed. I'm looking to expand my horizons with total immersion in new cultures and to create meaningful human connections to last a lifetime.
I grew up in a small coastal town in Connecticut, USA, which instilled a strong sense of community within me, a trait which is reflected in my character. I love building connections with people because, of course, 'the core of man's spirit comes from new experiences'. As I have matured, I have come to realize the world is far more vast than I ever could've imagined, a cognizance which allowed me to entertain the idea of travel. I am fortunate enough to have been exposed to an eclectic assortment of cultures at my age, a detail which can be wholly attributed to my father's incessant curiosity of the world.
One formative traveling experience that inspires me to this day was when I went to France with my family at age 12 for my first time traveling across the pond. Europe never failed to fascinate me; whether it be the Parisian architecture, the idyllic French countryside, or the breathtaking (figuratively and literally) views from the peak of Mt. Chamonix. I was absolutely hooked.

I have worked as a junior carpenter doing hands-on work such as framing, demolition, insulation, some masonry work, installing drywall/sheetrock, among other things on the job site. I have also worked as a ski/snowboard instructor at a local mountain so I have experience teaching and working with children. I grew up in a family of gardeners and have been building my skills in that regard my entire life.
I am always eager to learn any skills you have to teach and approach all tasks with an open mind and studious mentality. I am very willing to try new things and learn along the way. I am adaptable and learn quickly in the right environment, which allows me to be very versatile in the type of work I can complete.

I am an avid reader/writer and will spend most of my time away from work knee-deep in a book. I love music and am always keen to explore new genres, as well as sharing my personal taste. I am a creative at heart and there is nothing in the world which inspires me as much as raw, unadulterated nature. I am quite content entertaining myself, although I thrive in social situations where I am able to bond with people and create meaningful relationships. I am easygoing about accommodations and do not need much to be comfortable.
