Hey there,

my name is Lucy. I am a 21 year-old girl from Germany.

My dream was to travel the world since I was a child. So I worked in a car factory for three month after my graduation in 2022 to save up some money for a big trip.
This trip started in October and I traveled through Africa and Asia. In March I headed back home to take a break and see my family.
I started to work in a primary school because I also want to study primary school teaching in the future. But for me it was clear that I want to travel more and I booked a flight to Australia in December. And here I am now. :)

Now I want to tell you something more about me, my interests, skills and my motivation to travel the world:

My friends and family would describe me as a friendly, open minded and positive person.

I am excited about new challenges and I really want to step out of my comfort zone to take on new experiences. I have always enjoyed to meet new people, learn new languages and discover new cultures.

Nevertheless, I am a slightly shy person in the presence of many new people. But I try to overcome this a little and become more self-confident. I have visited an acting school a few years ago and this helped me the most out of it.

I like to organise things. For example in school I was a member of the team who organised our graduation ball and the year book.

Furthermore, I have a passion for working with children, and my job at a primary school was a great way to gain experience in that field.
I am also not afraid of a little physical activity… Sports was one of my major courses in school.
