Description
Hi! We are Lucy and Patrick, having met whilst travelling in Mexico last year, we have since been working in our own countries so we could come together again and travel India.
Collectively, we have extensive experience in hospitality (Lucy as a bartender in an independent events venue and Patrick in various kitchens, working and developing new menus), We have volunteered on a llama rescue farm in Texas together, and are excited to find projects that will teach us more about sustainability/farming and improving the world around us.
Patrick has experience on small organic farms and working in farm to table restaurants, we would both love to continue to develop these skills. Lucy has also had experience volunteering in a hostel and a community project, supporting mezcal distilleries.
We both love being creative, if it's finding ways to solve problems or creating something new in our downtime, we make sure to set aside time each day for it. We find our shared laughter makes experiences more enjoyable, even when things aren't quite going to plan!
Travelling has been a huge motivator for both of us over the last few years, without it we would have never met each other! We know there is still so much more out there for us to learn, see and experience. It has been a big motivator in the past year, we have been working hard so we can come together and continue our journey. We believe it's all about taking in as much as you can while you can, shocking our senses and feeling comfortable in the sensory overload of new places.
