I’m Lola! I’m a backpacker and adventure enthusiast from the United States, journeying across our beautiful planet authentically to discover the incredible sights, people, and culture the world has to offer. I am a digital nomad who works as a travel writer, managing my website kickthetravelbucketlist.com.

I'm in love with the idea of slow travel, spending weeks in a place to get to better understand the culture and people of a destination and my brand is all about authentic travel. I think travel should be about basking in the unexpected, the beautiful moments that could never be added to a bucket list because you could never expect them to happen. That's why I've joined Workaway, to seek out more authentic travel experiences.

I have a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and have worked for over two years in a marketing agency. I consider myself a strong writer, researcher, and planner. I'm currently working as a digital nomad doing freelance work with a marketing firm, where I work around 20 hours a week. I'm also growing my skills as a travel writer and I hope to transition to producing inspirational and informative travel content through my travel website kickthetravelbucketlist.com and my social media channels.
I am an experienced house-sitter and petsitter and I adore animals. I love caring for furry friends and I've cared for the likes of dogs, cats, horses, goats, and even a bearded lizard. I also enjoy spending time with kids and can do child care as needed.
