Description

Hello, my name is Lois, and I love exploring! I was born and raised in Washington State. I would love to see different parts of the world and explore Gods creation. I like animals, nature, and appreciate breathing fresh air away from the city. Something I appreciate is the traditional way of doing things, getting back to a more simple life that's not so common these days. I like to eat natural food as much as possible, and am passionate about growing food. I love to cook, clean, and I also have horticulture and garden experience. I do cooking and baking regularly. I can make a good pastry, if you like pie I'd be happy to make you one! I am also interested in natural medicine and herbs, as it helped me recover from a chronic illness. I would be open to a host that needs childcare because I love children and would like my own family someday. I really enjoy the presence of people, though I'm also independent. Side hobbies include painting, board games, and knitting. I am interested in canning, and would like to learn more about it if possible. I love learning and am intrigued by different languages. My last workaway was near Montreal and I picked up some french while I was there. I am open to learning your language and helping with english if needed!

I can cook a large variety of meals including vegetarian or meat eating style dishes. I can also bake. Some of my favorite things to cook include curry, stew, and anything with potatoes! I'm happy to share and exchange recipes. I can do cleaning and tidying and inside chores. I have one year experience housekeeping and dog sitting. I have 8 years babysitting experience with kids age 6month-12yrs old. I've had a lot of animals over the years, rats, a dog, guinea pig, and a rabbit.
I have knowledge about gardening, propagation, light pruning, and I really like plants.
